Private health care centre Hippokrates The private health care centre Hippokrates, ltd. in the centre of Bratislava on Šulekova Street (entrance from the street Novosvetská ulica) has been providing its services to its patients since 1995. We are specialized in the treatment of locomotor system diseases, we concentrate mainly on the disease of the spine that leads to various health problems. In Hippokrates you can find services of GP, neurologist, internist, psychiatrist and physician from the field of rehabilitation and spa therapy. We provide complete health care services – diagnosis, drug, injection and infusion therapy and rehabilitation of a high quality with a wide spectrum of rehabilitation procedures. In Hippokrates you can undergo physiotherapy, massages (lymphodrenage is also included), sauna, hydrotherapy, magnetotherapy, electrotherapy and ultrasound therapy. Remedial exercises include fit-ball exercises and Pilates exercises. Hippokrates belongs to few rehabilitation centres that provide programmes intended to strengthen the pelvic floor, which is a treatment method applied when men and women suffer from urinary incontinence. As far as alternative treatment procedures are concerned, acupuncture, Su Jok therapy and intestinal douche are applied.
